The Kidsfull Approach
Personalised learning, focused on results
Supporting your children when they are struggling within their education is effective when it is personalised to each child. We only work with specialists who understand how to do this. Of course, it is important that they have current subject knowledge, but we also make sure that they have the skills to build a rapport with your child and encourage participation in their learning. Our educational enrichment programmes do underpin classroom learning and soft skills that your child requires support with and this is not available in the classroom.
Educational enrichment has to be based on a real understanding of a child’s level of knowledge and attitude to learning. Our educators will also talk to your child and take their opinion on where they find it difficult. This way, you know your supportive member of staff will develop a programme that delivers the results you need.
Results come in many guises. We will make sure we understand your goals and work towards them through supporting and developing your child to be successful.
Our programmes cover every possible subject area from phonics and handwriting through to degree level physic support. The programmes can be adapted to cover a short-term challenge or to support your child over a longer period to ensure they have really understood a particular challenge and we are always at the end of the phone if you have any questions
How we select our Staff
All educators have to meet extremely high standards to become part of the Kidsfull team. We screen all applicants to make sure they have the right qualifications and the right attitude to be a successful member of our team. Our rigorous processes are designed to make sure that the person you welcome into your home is one you can trust as well as the right match for you and your child.
When you select us, you know that the support that you have selected will be delivered by a member of staff that has had to pass our five stage selection process.
When you select us, you can be confident that the support is the right support.
Our staff initially apply online and only a few make it through this first stage selection. Our minimum requirements are higher than those required to become a teacher. We ask for a minimum of a 2.1 degree in the subject they wish to support in for all secondary students and above, or that they have qualified teacher status (QTS).
Our support team interview all potential team members to check both their credentials, their experience and their aptitude for delivering the right level of support. Education and academic criteria are important but so is the desire to really make a difference and an outlook that enjoys seeing children thrive and flourish.
We insist on seeing copies of all documentation including degree certificate, the right to work in the UAE. We do not accept any person who cannot provide this evidence to support their application.
We obtain written character and employment references before registering anyone to work with us, making sure these references are from reliable and independent witnesses.
Support Team Training and Feedback
We are proud of our high standards and monitor the performance of individual staff on every assignment they undertake on our behalf. We support them and provide training to set standards and support their own professional development.
Different specialists have different methods and styles. One of the primary benefits of working with us is that the specialist can tailor his/or her method to the needs of the individual child in a way that cannot be achieved in the larger group. Each child we work with needs a different approach and programme. Every child is an individual, and the child and specialist need to find their best approach together. The background information given before starting is of great help and we will ask for any additional information needed.
